Kotor Lyn Sekla Do U See Her Again

Taris: Side Quests

Dia'due south Bounty

To get this quest either talk to Zax in the Bounty office or Dia herself. She is located in the room next to your Hideout. Only fustigate in the door or use security to talk to her. The dark side solution is easy, but kill her and return to Zax for your reward of 105 XP and 300 Credits (400 if y'all persuade him).

The light side solution is less straight forward. Talk to Holdan about it and either persuade him to accept the bounty off, or pay him off. If yous don't desire to pay him, and don't have enough ranks in persuade to change his mind, you can await until Bastila is in your party. If you lot fail a persuade check Bastila volition apply her Force Powers on him to get him to change his mind for free. Once that is done talk to Dia for 125 XP. Refuse her advantage for more lite side points. You can accept her advantage and proceeds a prissy free energy projector instead. Usually I take the reward fifty-fifty if I'g playing the light side, since you won't find very many free energy projectors in the game.

Con Artists in the Cantina

Not exactly a side quest, but some funny dialog to watch if you want. They just exist to scam. In the upper city cantina there are ii con-artists, Christya for the males, and Jergan for the females. To trigger Christya, yous must win a match against Niklos. Talk to her subsequently, and she will propose you give her 20 credits for a potable. Of course she goes off with the noble guy leaving you with nothing. Typical.

If you say yous cannot afford 20 credits she'll just leave and go with the noble without stealing your coin. If, on the other hand if you are female, simply walk into the music room and Jergan will automatically approach you. He will inquire for 20 credits to let yous come across the band. If you say yep, he will run off and an angry woman volition tell you that she was conned for 20 credits past the aforementioned guy. If you don't pay him he'll simply stay at that place and expect for you to come back to try his luck over again. At that place are no dark or lite side points nor are in that location any XP gained.

Gana Lavin'southward Pride

In the Bar area is a noble woman named Gana Lavin. If you talk to her she will mistake you for a waiter and complain. If yous persuade successfully zilch happens, but if y'all don't persuade or fail, then she runs out angrily. The next time you leave the cantina she will exist waiting for you with two thugs around the Equipment Emporium. The thugs are very weak, and will drop vibroblades and another random stuff. Once the thugs are expressionless Gana will run off screaming.

The Duel Ring

Yous begin this quest by setting up a duel with Ajuur in the Upper city Cantina. You should as well know that it is best to use normal attacks as using feats decreases your assault bonus making it much more difficult to hit. All who are planning on condign Light sided should try to finish this quest in its entirety as soon as possible because Killing Bendak Starkiller volition net you some Dark side points. Equally y'all know the more light side points you lot take the greater the night side point penalty, so past taking him out before yous gain any light side points y'all prevent the dark side penalty from this quest from becoming besides harsh to deal with.

The reward is worth it, and I strongly advise all characters to take role in this quest whether they be light or dark. Not only are Bendak's Blasters the almost powerful blasters one tin can get for a long time, you also get very nice budgetary and XP rewards. Avoid gaining lite side points by not finishing any of the remaining quests listed below, by avoiding conversing with the people that provide the light side quests until after you finish Bendak.

The matches are as follows:
Deadeye Duncan: Very Easy. Practically a 1 hit impale even on low levels.
Reward: 55 XP & 100 Credits

Gerlon Two-fingers: Easy. Just hack away and he should fall easily. Fifty-fifty Scoundrels shouldn't take too much of a hard time as long as you employ a medpac.
Reward: lxxx XP & 200 Credits

Ice: Medium. First match where y'all'll most probable use medpacs. Difficulty greatly depends on gear and levels. If you are level 5 with good gear, she's like shooting fish in a barrel and you lot nearly probable won't even demand to use a medpac. If you nonetheless haven't gone down to the lower city, this will exist a bit more than difficult. As long as you apply medpacs you should still be able to win. For low level scoundrels you may want to use a concussion grenade and a couple of frag grenades to soften her up. Three frag grenades tin knock her down, if she misses all of her saves. Even two grenades are enough to make this an easy battle for all.
Reward: 105 XP & 300 Credits

Marl: Medium-difficult. Will lose oft if yous don't use strategy at lower levels. If you level up beyond 5 with good gear, the fight becomes rather piece of cake. For an easy win on any level just run around and shoot at a distance. Information technology will take some fourth dimension only information technology's a sure burn down win. Even a level ii scoundrel tin pull this off. Don't employ attacks that have fourth dimension. Rapid Shot or normal attacks piece of work best here.
Advantage: 125 XP & 400 Credits

Twitch: Hard. You can't use the run around strategy like Marl, so it's best to close the distance ASAP if you're going melee. Level upward to at least 5 to make the boxing easier. Concussion grenades and frag grenades speed things upwardly considerably. Level 2 scoundrels volition find this very difficult so don't be afraid to utilize concussion grenades to help you stun him to have your Sneak attack take result. Use energy shields if y'all have to.
Reward: 155 XP and if yous don't use the glitch* 500 credits.

*To activate this glitch, after winning the lucifer confronting twitch don't talk to Ajuur. Go immediately to talk to Bendak Starkiller. Later on defeating Bendak, talk to Ajuur twice to get the advantage for killing Bendak twice as well as two Bendak's Blasters!

Afterward winning against Twitch, to set up the adjacent battle with Bendak, talk to him in the Pazaak lounge. Say that you lot'll take him on, and he'll set up a match. Leave the bar, go to Upper City North and then return to the Cantina. Now just talk to Ajuur and you'll battle Bendak! Annotation that when you start this adjacent battle you lot volition automatically get some Dark side points that cannot be avoided if y'all want to fight him.

Bendak Starkiller: Very Hard. Easily the most difficult battle on Taris. It is possible to kill him as a level two scoundrel if you lot really truly want to, simply it will take a lot of patience and perseverance. I actually found that he was far more than difficult to kill as a level 2 scout, only because once Bendak is stunned scoundrels can do sneak attacks, whereas scouts take no such benefit. Their minor increment in VP does little to protect you from Bendak'due south attacks, since in either case 1 hit volition kill you.

Equally soon as you are in the loonshit interruption before the battle begins and employ a dex, con, and a battle stim. If you are going to go melee use a str stim too. And so activate an energy shield to protect y'all from his blasters. With all that done you may desire to make a temporary save for your battle in the arena. Now chuck a poison grenade and then RUN! If you run fast enough his grenade will miss. Once he is poisoned chuck a concussion grenade. At present that he is stunned try to have down his HP as chop-chop as possible before he recovers. Hit him with everything you've got.

When he recovers if he'south nearly dead y'all may be able to kill him without using another concussion grenade, merely most likely you'll demand to hit him with a 2nd one or maybe even a 3rd one to cease him off. Recall this is IF your grenade hits. His saves are loftier plenty that often your grenades won't affect him. Keep this in heed as you'll likely have to chuck more grenades. Don't use Sonic grenades every bit they do no damage. Cryoban and Plasma grenades piece of work well, with good impairment and best of all a chance to cast horror or paralyze, but you won't have very many at this point.

It is imperative that you lot effort to stun him every bit much equally possible. Try to go along your vitality maxxed out and energy shields upwardly constantly because if one of his hits doesn't kill you lot outright a second hitting will. If your vitality gets depression, become shut plenty that he chases you with his melee weapon without him pulling out his equalizer, but keep just enough distance so he tin't hit you; then heal while on the run. If you make one mistake though he could impale you in 1 hit every bit free energy shields don't protect against vibroblade harm. In any case this is will be a long and hard battle.

Reward: 105 XP for winning along with the XP y'all get from killing Bendak. Likewise yous get a Bendak'southward Blaster and either 700 or 900 credits if you successfully persuade or threaten Ajuur. Threatening Ajuur will get you lot some night side points.

Bendak's Bounty

Just complete the Dueling Band and this quest is automatically completed. Y'all must talk to Zax for your reward of 105 XP and 300 Credits (400 if you persuade him).

Injured Republic Soldiers

When in the costless dispensary enquire Zelka Forn about the crashed escape pods and then persuade him to talk to yous about it. Threatening here never works, likewise Zelka will not talk to you about the escape pods after yous've been to the Undercity in one case. Another way to become him to talk is by opening the door past either security or bashing. You lot can extort coin from him for Dark side points. If yous ask if you can help yous go Light side points. The other answer is neutral (naturally).

Rakghoul Serum

Get this quest by talking to Zelka Forn. He'll explain what Rakghoul illness is. Next Gurney will arroyo yous and tell you to sell the serum to Zax instead for a hefty profit. Go to the due south eastern corner of the Undercity about the entrance to the sewers is a Sith corpse. On that corpse is the Rakghoul Serum. No thing who you give the serum you lot will ever gain 200 XP. For the most calorie-free side points refuse Zelka's reward, in which case he offers you a discount on his wares. You tin still get the discount if y'all persuade him to give you more (though you lot don't go the extra LSP boost).

If you threaten Zelka yous'll still only become a mere l actress credits, so it isn't worth the hassle. Instead sell it to Zax for a hefty profit and some DSP. Ane k Credits (1500 if you can persuade him) is much meliorate than the lousy reward Zelka offers you. Yous may want to use the serum in other sidequests in the Undercity earlier you requite it to him. If you didn't utilise it you may want to buy some from him later. Using the serum in the Undercity does not touch on this quest at all whatever. Also note that if y'all extorted money from Zelka previously (run across to a higher place quest) and then you cannot requite him the serum.

Hassled Merchant

On your way to the North department of the upper city you may accept met a merchant being hassled past some of Davik's compensation hunters. You can get both light and night points hither, or if you wish to save those points for later you tin always bypass this upshot by walking as far away from them as possible when going to the north metropolis. Merely be certain y'all aren't wearing a Sith uniform when you lot do this equally you will not be able to proceeds light or dark side points. The ii thugs that you just killed both have 50 credits each allowing you to recover the amount y'all gave the old man if y'all decided to go with the light path. If y'all decide to go the nighttime path make sure that Carth isn't with yous. He'll let the erstwhile homo become before you lot can rob him of his credits. Finishing off the thugs will internet y'all a bonus of 250 XP no matter what you do afterwards.

The Persecuted Ithorian

In front of the entrance to the Upper Urban center Northern Apartments is an Ithoran who is beingness bullied by some bigoted kids. If you lot salve him you will proceeds 60 XP for your trouble. This event will not appear until you've been to the Lower Urban center. Lecturing the children on equality, and then giving a medpac will cyberspace you the most low-cal side points. While in that location are no dark side points to be gained, by not getting involved you can watch the kids impale the Ithorian, simply that won't net you whatever XP. If Carth and Mission are in your political party they volition intervene even if you won't, and you can still get the XP, for a neutral solution.

Largo'southward Bounty

To get this quest either talk to Zax in the Compensation role, or talk to Largo himself. He is located in the Upper metropolis Apartment North. To get the virtually Dark side points first hope you lot won't tell Davik for money. Talk to him again and so impale him. Return to Zax for your advantage of 105 XP and 300 Credits (400 if you persuade him). For a lite side solution, just give him 200 credits for a reward of 110 XP. Be sure to loot his corpse if y'all impale him for some credits and an free energy projector!

Hassled past Drunks

On your fashion to the Lower urban center elevator you'll meet a group of drunk guys. Once more this group can exist bypassed by passing on the south side of the walkway. Also same as before make sure you lot are not wearing the Sith uniform every bit that will deprive you of whatsoever calorie-free or dark side points that can be gained from this conversation. If you avoid fighting them yous'll proceeds 60 XP. If you do end up fighting them then the Sith guards around will also help you lot. They might even drop a few credits each.

The Lacking Droid

Go to Droids by Janice and buy the utility droid named T3-H8 for 50 credits, netting yous 110 XP. After y'all exit her store, the droid following you will short out and explode. Go back for a refund. With a high persuade yous tin get a 75 credits instead of the l yous paid for. If you want dark side points hope that y'all fail the persuade check (must have less than Persuade of 8). Threatening her will succeed and will give you lot 75 credits and some dark side points. In that location is no low-cal side path here but you lot can remain neutral.

Twisted Rankor Trio Band

This "puzzle" is found in the Lower City East Apartments. Don't bother getting the data pad since I'll but tell you the correct guild correct here which is as follows: Elinda, Ujaa, Ujii Loopa, Fodo, Ashana. If you fail twice then the box will explode killing anybody. If you happen to survive the explosion a bag will be left with the contents of the box merely you won't become whatever XP for it. Your reward is 110 XP and an Echani Cobweb Armor and fifty Credits.

Matrik's Compensation

To get this quest either talk to Zax in the Bounty office, or talk to Matrik himself. He is located in the Lower City East Apartments. Unlock or Fustigate in his door. You can immediately collect on his bounty (no dark side points strangely plenty) or talk to him to help him with a plan to fake his death. To buy the permacrete detonator get to Kebla's Equipment Emporium and she should have one in stock for 50 credits. Return to him and give information technology to him for a short cut-scene. Remember to boodle the container in the room earlier talking to him, every bit you won't be able to afterwards y'all give him the detonator. Y'all'll become 480 XP & LSP for faking his death. If you lot do impale him, make certain you loot his body for a mesh underlay. After he's "expressionless", either by killing him or his faking information technology, go to Zax to collect your reward of 105 XP (55 XP if you simulated his death) and 300 Credits (400 if you persuade him).

Elam's Sealed Strongbox

This "puzzle" is plant in the Lower City West Apartments. While you can detect the answers past reading the journal entries on the computer at your left, it isn't really all that hard to figure it out. They are: Hyperdrive, My Uncle, Alderaan. You go 110 XP for opening the strongbox, 100 Credits and a Democracy Mod Armor.

Selven'due south Compensation

To go this quest either talk to Zax in the Bounty role, or talk to Selven herself. She is located in the Lower City West Apartments. If y'all haven't still received this quest yous can withal kill her past talking to her twice. You lot actually don't take a choice only to kill her, merely the rewards are substantial. Make sure you loot her corpse for a Scope, an adrenaline amplifier, and a neural band. Render to Zax for a reward of 105 XP and 300 Credits (400 if you persuade him) after the human activity is done.

The Starlight Entertainers

In the Bounty role is a dancer named Lyn Sekla who is auditioning for a part with the Starlight Entertainers, just she doesn't take a partner to audience with and as a event cannot bring together. You can offering to be her partner, and although it requires a successful persuade check even people with no ranks in persuade can get a success after a few tries. Y'all tin can purposefully fail if you wish only you get neither dark side points nor experience, so information technology is in your best interests to see her succeed. You can fail one of the 3 chances that he gives you, then information technology isn't all that difficult. Only do the following: Trip the light fantastic close abreast her, Trip the light fantastic close behind her, and dance beside her, in that order. You lot gain 250 XP for helping her.

Infected Outcasts

To become this quest talk to the healer in the southern western corner of the Undercity village. Beyond the gate are five villagers infected with Rakghoul affliction. 3 of them will immediately transform as soon as you enter and you volition exist forced to kill them. If you want dark side points just kill the remaining 2 villagers for a bonus lx XP. The Light path requires that you get the serum in the due south eastern corner of the Undercity. Return to them with the serum and cure them for light side points, 210 XP (you only get 60 XP if yous talk to the infected male) and the gratitude of the village. You must finish this quest prior to doing the low-cal sided Promised land quest, otherwise the infected villagers will disappear along with the residue of the village.

Infected Republic Soldier

In the northeastern corner of the Undercity there is a fallen republic escape pod with an infected republic soldier. Watch out for mines in this area. As soon as yous talk to him if you lot don't have the cure he will transform into a Rakghoul and you volition be forced to impale him. If you got the serum in the southeastern corner of the Undercity then you lot tin cure him and talk to him but he gives you no important information and shortly dies thereafter from a random Rakghoul attack which you will take to face afterwards. So either y'all don't assistance him and take on one weak Rakghoul, or you do expert and it backfires by luring four hard Rakghouls toward you. Curing him will net you more XP, but it's more difficult to deal with those 4 so brand certain y'all're prepared for them. There is no night path here. This quest can be done both before and after rescuing Bastila, though the dialog changes.

The Promised Land

Rukil in the Undercity will initially ask you lot to find the journal of his apprentice. In the northwestern expanse of the Undercity near the Columns is an outcast corpse with the apprentice'due south the journal on it. Take it back to Rukil and you will be rewarded with 175 XP and he will ask you to find two more journals both of which are constitute in the sewers. Igear will also talk to you and enquire y'all to bring him the journals instead. One is in the room with the spiderbot beyond from the Gammorean Compound.

The other is institute a bit due south and east of the southeast entrance. In one case yous have both, return to either Rukil (light) or Igear (nighttime) for your reward. Rukil can offer yous nothing, and once you give him the journals the entire Undercity becomes unpopulated, so you might want to practise finish this quest after finishing with the Undercity, as even the healer and Igear disappear. Giving the journals to Igear will internet you a bit of coin and night side points. In either case you lot become 325 XP for finishing this quest.
